Replace old MacBook with new MacBook?

I had a white plastic 13 "MacBook (with Tiger) by 2 1 / 2 years. It has been broken (not my fault) 7 times. Three times he was a logic board replacement. Twice he was a replacement hard drive. Once it was a keyboard replacement. Once this was a replacement of the screen. I heard that if your computer breaks down a certain number of times that Apple offers a free replacement. Is that true? I'd say wait for the hardware upgrade in the new MacBook. A general rule with the 1st generation products Apple – until the second generation for some of the insects get jobs outside. If you would pay the differece as they have had the old MacBook for over 2 years – Apple, not a charity business.
